I have so much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving, but most of all what I’m thankful for is each and every one of you reading this today. Honestly, I just want to thank you!
You Pick Me Up
Thank you to each and every one of you that have sent me an email, a Facebook message, tagged me in a post, etc to let me know how This Naked Mind or The Alcohol Experiment have helped you. Your words pick me up on the days when spreading this message and combating those that wish to see us fail, brings me down. You remind me why this mission is so important and why we won’t be silenced.
Thank You For Reading
I don’t have the words in my vocabulary to express the amount of gratitude I have for each of you that have read the words in my books, emails, Facebook posts, blogs, articles and more. It takes a certain amount of vulnerability to continually share my story with you and how it’s changed me. When you respond with reassurances that you, too, have felt the way I do – we’re establishing those connections we all so desperately need.
I still get butterflies of excitement when I see my posts are being shared or I come across my book in a store. Knowing that my words are part of this alcohol free movement that includes all of you…that’s just mind blowing.
Share With Others
Let others know how they can be part of the revolution. Anyone can start reading This Naked Mind for free today!
Also, don’t forget that the The Alcohol Experiment is a completely free option with daily emails and exercises to support participants in a 30-day, booze-free challenge.
Sharing Your Stories
What touches and moves me the most though, is when you share your stories with me. They are heartbreaking, awe-inspiring, happy, sad, triumphant, and every emotion and adjective in between. Most of all – your stories are raw and they are your own. We are owning what alcohol did to us and owning that we will no longer give it that control. Each unique story holds something that bonds us and connects us, saying none of us are alone in this journey. Thank you for braving this path with me and being brave enough to share your story.
I Want To Thank You
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Thank you for giving me hope. For allowing me to know that through the work all of you are doing, that one day, no longer will being a non-drinker be considered weird or an anomaly. No one will question why we don’t drink and they will instead question why someone does drink. That day is coming and you’re all part of the reason why!
