4 Mocktail Recipes To Make in April
Cadbury Creme Mocktini
Cadbury Eggs are synonymous with this season for me. I’m so excited to share with you how to make this super-indulgent Chocolate Cadbury Creme Mocktini. I love the fact that I can share this great drink with my kids and have them enjoy it just as much as I do!
You’ll be mixing up –
❀ 3 oz tonic water
❀ 1.5 oz chocolate syrup or chocolate liquor (Chocolate liquor is non-alcoholic – do not get liqueur!! It contains alcohol!)
❀ 1 oz white chocolate sauce
❀ 1.5 oz sweetened condensed milk or heavy cream (adjust to your preferred level of sweetness)
❀ 1-2 tbsp melting chocolate (for garnish)
❀ Cadbury Creme Egg (for garnish)
❀ Microwave melting chocolate until it is melted (about 30-60 seconds).
❀ Dip the rim of the glass into the chocolate. You can also drizzle some chocolate inside the glass or pour some chocolate syrup down the inside of the glass.
❀ Place in the freezer until ready to serve.
To make the drink –
❀ Mix tonic water, chocolate syrup or liquor, white chocolate syrup, and milk or cream in a shaker with ice.
❀ Shake hard and pour into glass
❀ Garnish with half a Chocolate Creme Egg on the rim of the glass
In A Pickle
You’ll find yourself in a pickle after drinking this tasty virgin margarita! The pickle is the fact that you never knew you could capture the unique flavor of a margarita by just using pickle juice. No booze, just brine! Who knew? Hit the store and pick up these ingredients to make this yummy mocktail recipe!
❀ 1-ounce fresh lime juice
❀ ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
❀ ¼ teaspoon liquid sweetener of your choice (Maple syrup, agave nectar, simple syrup, etc)
❀ ¼ teaspoon pickle juice
❀ 3 ounces tonic water
❀ Sea Salt (for garnish)
❀ Lime Wheel or Pickle Wheel (for garnish)
❀ Cut a notch in a lime wedge or in a pickle, then run the lime or pickle around the rim of a glass. Dip the rim of the glass into a plate of sea salt.
❀ Combine lemon and lime juices, liquid sweetener, and pickle juice in glass. Stir to combine.
❀ Top with tonic water and ice.
❀ Garnish with lime or pickle wheel.
This sparkling pomgria packs flavor and a punch by combining, tea, pomegranate juice, and fresh fruit. It’s refreshing without being overly sweet thanks to the mix of tea and pomegranate juice. To make it you’ll need –
❀ 2 cups boiling water
❀ 2 tea bags (black tea, earl gray, breakfast tea, etc)
❀ 2 cinnamon sticks
❀ 1/2 cup granulated sugar
❀ 3 cups pomegranate juice (You can also do a mix of pomegranate, tart cherry, and cranberry juices)
❀ 1 cup orange juice
❀ 1 orange, sliced thinly
❀ 1 lemon, sliced thinly
❀ 1 lime, sliced thinly
❀ 1 cup apple chunks
❀ 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
❀ 3 cups cold sparkling water or club soda
❀ Pour the boiling water over tea bags and cinnamon sticks. Let steep at least 5 minutes. Discard tea bags and add the granulated sugar. Stir to dissolve.
❀ In a pitcher mix the tea, juices, and fruit. Refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to combine.
❀ Add sparkling water to the pitcher before serving.
The Big Dill
Fun drinks deserve fun names! The Big Dill is fun and super simple to make. If you want a mocktail recipe that is quick and easy to mix up – The Big Dill delivers. Make sure you have these ingredients on hand to make it –
❀ 1.5 tablespoons pickle juice
❀ 1 tablespoon lime juice
❀ 1/2 cup ginger beer
❀ Combine the ingredients in a glass.
❀ Add ice and enjoy.
