Kim DeWitt

Kim was the girl who had it all together on the outside but was crumbling on the inside. A successful senior pharmaceutical sales representative, heavily involved and loving mom and spouse, self-acclaimed perfectionist, and huge dog lover, Kim appeared to be living a perfect life. No one knew the extent to which she used alcohol to fit in, numb her feelings, escape her seemingly perfect life, feel accepted, gain confidence, unwind, celebrate, reward herself, and self-medicate.*

Kim had over 16 years of sobriety from June 30, 2003, through the end of 2019. Alcohol never gave up on Kim and in late 2019 she (and alcohol) convinced herself that she could be a ‘normal’ drinker and consume alcohol in moderation. It didn’t take long before she was well aware that alcohol had reclaimed its hold on her and had a tight grip on her and her life! She had had it! She was sick of the lies, sick of letting down herself and her family, sick of feeling sick from the effects of ALCOHOL!!! Her last drink
was on May 25, 2022! It was during her participation in the TNM August Alps PATH that she truly broke free from the clutches of alcohol.

Some interesting facts about Kim. She has lived in 8 states, graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, and splits time evenly between Indiana and Texas. She was a winning contestant on the game show, THE PRICE IS
RIGHT, partners with her husband as a mortgage loan originator team and has three amazing kids, She is a huge lover of animals, especially her three golden retrievers, Gus, Ryder, and Bear.

She aims to serve over-achiever women with perfectionistic personalities, who’ve tried other alcohol recovery methods and are still looking to create a life they don’t want to escape through alcohol.

Her compassionate and non-judgmental approach to coaching creates a safe and a supportive environment to share your snags and work towards changing your relationship with alcohol for good!

Words can’t express the gratitude that I have for Kim! Her compassionate and supportive approach put me at ease from the start. By the end of our session, I was able to find clarity around a sticky life situation. Kim helped me to identify my strengths and develop strategies for overcoming my obstacles. If you are feeling stuck at any point in your alcohol-free journey, I highly recommend Kim to help get you to where you want to go. – H.P.
