Elizabeth lives in Orlando, Florida and has two young adult daughters. She was born in Medellín, Colombia and was raised in Costa Rica. She’s fully bilingual in Spanish and English. When she’s not working, she loves to row in a crew boat, volunteers at a local hospital with her pet therapy rescue greyhound named Dutch and likes to read anything related to good health.
Elizabeth had been questioning her drinking for a few years, but when she couldn’t give it up during two Lent seasons, she knew she had to do something. Willpower wasn’t working anymore. She got curious and wanted to see why this was happening. That’s when she found the book This Naked Mind: Control Alcohol: Find Freedom, Discover Happiness & Change Your Life. This book was her first step in her journey to finding freedom and joy by learning the science behind alcohol and understanding how her own limiting beliefs and thoughts were keeping her stuck. She has been alcohol-free since March 2021.
Elizabeth aims to help anyone who is unhappy with their relationship with alcohol, especially divorced women and the Hispanic community. She wants to help them discover that life, with its ups and downs, is so much better living without the constraints of alcohol.
