Carol Urry

Carol is a certified This Naked Mind coach and has been alcohol free since October 31, 2019. She works specifically with mums who are struggling to keep children, work, relationships and home life running smoothly.

Whilst raising two children of her own, one of whom lives with the challenge of Asperger’s, Carol realised she was using alcohol to help cope with all of life’s responsibilities and a challenging marriage that ended in divorce.

Carol has worked in the care sector for over 37 years including 13 years in the Armed Forces. In 1997, after moving to a small rural village, Carol became involved in her local branch of the Royal British Legion, holding positions as Chairman, Case Worker, Treasurer & Welfare Visitor. Carol continues to be involved in her local Poppy Appeal. Community is very important to Carol and during her 24 years in her small community she has sat on several committee’s and been involved in many local projects and fundraisers over the years.

Carol leads a spiritual life, loves nature, bird watching, gardening, travelling, and is passionate about steam trains. Carol has remarried, enjoys riding pillion on their Goldwing motorcycle and supporting their favourite football team. A beginner on the Yoga and meditation scene, Carol loves a challenge and has always been an enthusiastic self-developer.

Carol offers group and 1:1 coaching for mums who want to change their relationship with alcohol, particularly those coping with special needs children and women living in a difficult relationship.
