Well, we’ve thought of that and you’re covered with these five alcohol-free beverage recipes that will have you wondering just what you thought you would miss out on! Grab a pen and paper and start making your grocery list so you can party in style – alcohol free!
Alcohol Free Peach Sangria
Peach Sangria is one of those drinks that everyone loves. This version can be modified depending on your taste preferences!
1 liter peach nectar (If you have trouble finding this you can use Simple Peach Juice instead)
1 liter peach sparkling water (This is widely available)
1 pound frozen peaches (You can use canned in a pinch)
White grape juice
Combine the peach nectar, peach sparkling water, and frozen peaches. Mix half of the peach mixture and half the bottle of white grape juice in a pitcher. Serve over ice and garnish with mint if desired.
I haven’t suddenly gone biblical on you but I have been cravings lots of V-8 lately, so a Virgin Mary recipe seemed fitting! Tasty and healthy sounds like the perfect combination.
3 ounces tomato juice, V-8 OR Clamato juice
1/2 ounce lemon juice
Dash of Worcestershire sauce (or beef broth)
Ground pepper (freshly ground is best)
Hot pepper or Tabasco sauce
Celery stalk for garnish
Tomato slice for garnish
Add the liquid ingredients into your preferred glass over ice.
Add the seasonings to taste.
Garnish with the celery stalk, tomato slice or your favorite Bloody Mary garnish.
If you know my story, you know my shift began with a mimosa. Luckily, I’ve found I can still enjoy one without the alcohol!
Lemon Lime Soda
Fill glass half full with orange juice.
Add 1-2 oz limeade.
Fill to top with soda.
Mango Madness Granita
I recently learned that it’s possible to have a mango allergy. I’m ridiculously happy I do not have one because this mango granita recipe is pure heaven. Honestly – I think adding alcohol to it would take away from its flavor!
Simple Syrup – you can make your own by dissolving 1 cup sugar in 2 cups of boiling water for about 10 minutes
3 cups mango – fresh is preferred
1 cup lime juice
¼ cup orange juice
Garnish – lime & sea salt
Blend the mango, simple syrup, lime and orange juice together until smooth.
Pour into a glass dish and place in freezer for 2-3 hours.
Stir the mixture and refreeze for an additional 2-3 hours.
Allow mixture to soften before serving in salt-rimmed glasses and garnished with lime wedges.
Mint Mojito Mocktails
Mint is probably one of the most refreshing flavors out there. This mint mojito mocktail will give you all the refreshing satisfaction without the inevitable dry mouth and headache a cocktail would bring!
2 sprigs fresh mint
3 wedges fresh lime
Ice (preferably crushed)
6oz lime flavored sparkling water
Squeeze fresh limes over the mint leaves.
Muddle mint and lime juice. (You can use the end of a wooden spoon if you don’t have a muddler!)
Add ice and top with lime flavored sparkling water.
Garnish with mint leaves & fresh lime wedges.
